Two games in the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) now remain inconclusive, SuperSport.com can report.
The games are ABS versus Sunshine Stars and Lobi Stars versus Sunshine Stars.
The Lobi Stars versus Sunshine Stars game was scheduled for Matchday 5 on January 29 but did not hold and the hosts now claim that they have been awarded three points and three goals since the away side did not turn up in Katsina-Ala.
ABS team manager, Alloy Chukwuemeka said his team are not ready to play Sunshine Stars again after they were awarded three points and three goals against the Akure Gunners for not showing up in Ilorin for the match on March 21.
But the Premier League Acting Executive Secretary, Tunji Babalola has told SuperSport.com that decisions on both games are pending before the Organising and Disciplinary Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
"The two matches are now before the Organising and Disciplinary Committee of the NFF," Babalola remarked. "There is no decision on the two games yet so we are waiting for them to sit and take a stand on the game. Sunshine Stars protested (against being walked over) and that's why the games have been referred to the Organising and Disciplinary Committee of the NFF."
In reaction to the NPL official, the secretary of the NFF committee disclosed to SuperSport.com that there have been no complaints concerning the two games lodged at his office.
