Manchester City's manager Roberto Mancini is considering a shock recall for Mario Balotelli in Monday's crucial Manchester derby.
The volatile striker has been suspended since Manchester City played Arsenal, a game in which he was sent off for two bookable offences but also committed a horrific tackle on Gunners midfielder Alex Song.
After the match Italian manager Mancini said he was considering selling his countryman in the summer as he could not put up with Balotelli's bad behaviour any more
The 22-year-old pleaded to stay at City after his latest misdemanour and it appears Mancini has forgiven him.
City trail neighbours United by three points going into Monday's crunch clash. If they beat their rivals they will go top of the Barclays Premier League on goal difference.
