Below are the teams that qualified for the Male football event in the olympic and the players to focus on.

Great Britain FIFA senior ranking: N/A Star man: Tottenham and Wales winger Gareth Bale could light up the tournament.

Spain FIFA senior ranking: 1 Star man: Take your pick. Manchester United keeper David de Gea, Chelsea midfielder Oriol Romeu and Barcelona's Thiago Alcantara are all eligible as Under 23 players.

Switzerland FIFA senior ranking: 18 Star man: Xherdan Shaqiri. The 20-year-old is an established part of the Swiss senior team, but Switzerland did not qualify for Euro 2012.
Belarus FIFA senior ranking: 68 Star man: BATE Borisov striker Vitali Rodionov, 28, could be an over-age selection.

Brazil FIFA senior ranking: 6 Star man: Another team flushed with star names. Neymar, Pato, Rafael, Douglas Costa and Sandro are all eligible as Under 23 players, but Neymar is the one to look out for.

Uruguay FIFA senior ranking: 3 Star man: Groningen striker David Texeira, 20, was heavily linked with a move to Liverpool last January. 

Honduras FIFA senior ranking: 61 Star man: Roger 'RoRo' Rojas was his country's joint leading scorer in qualifying. 

Mexico FIFA senior ranking: 20 Star man: Striker Alan Pulido, 21, has attracted attention from Manchester United. 

New Zealand FIFA senior ranking: 130 Star man: English-based players Chris Wood and Tommy Smith are both young enough to be included as Under 23s. 

Gabon FIFA senior ranking: 42 Star man: Saint-Etienne forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 22.

Morocco FIFA senior ranking: 62 Star man: QPR's Adel Taarabt. He's still only 22 and just might fancy it.

Egypt FIFA senior ranking: 55 Star man: Mohamed Saleh, 19, has just signed a fouryear deal with FC Basle.

Japan FIFA senior ranking: 30 Star man: Borussia Dortmund and Japan star Shinji Kagawa, 23.

United Arab Emirates FIFA senior ranking: 121 Star man: Ahmed Khalil, 20, played for UAE's Under 20 side when he was just 15.

South Korea FIFA senior ranking: 31 Star man: Bolton winger Lee Chung-yong, who will be 24 when the Games begin, could be an over-age star. 

Senegal FIFA senior ranking: 77 Star man: QPR defender Armand Traore, 22. Newcastle's Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse are eligible as over-age players.
