CHELSEA ARRIVES MUNICH FOR UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL SHOWDOWN

Chelsea have arrived in Munich ahead of the Champions League showdown with Bayern Munich on Saturday night.

David Luiz is loving every minute of his Champions League final experience and the Chelsea defender even had a big smile on his face during that boring bit waiting around at the airport.

The Blues players, wearing the standard footballer uniform of tracksuits and massive headphones, were heading out to Germany for the final against Bayern Munich.

Luiz used his Twitter account to keep fans updated with their journey and midfielder Ramires (who misses out on Saturday through suspension) and striker Didier Drogba were happy to pose for a snap.

Chelsea eventually touched down just after midday before heading to the plush team hotel in the centre of Munich.

Bayern are the flagship German club and Lampard was under no illusions about the task facing Chelsea, branding it 'a huge challenge'.

Bayern have been weakened by three suspensions for Saturday's clash but Chelsea have been affected by four, including to centre-backs John Terry and Branislav Ivanovic.

But Lampard was confident the fit-again Gary Cahill and David Luiz would fill the void.
