Rising Stars' coach, Sunday Erelesusi has said that Nigerian league is doomed should the outcome of Wednesday's Matchday 33 against Lobi Stars in Ado-Ekiti be altered.
The encounter was abandoned by the visitors few minutes to regulation time with the home side still in the lead after left winger Shedrack Francis put the home side forward in the 73rd minute.
Lobi Star's boss, Dominc Iorfa was said to have ordered his players to abandon the match at the 85th minute citing insufficient security at the stadium.
"It was Lobi Stars' Dominic Iorfa that called out his players alleging insufficient police presence about 14 minutes to the end of the game.
"He said he was stoned from the stands, held up his hands but after thorough search for the stone none was found.
"It was Iorfa that abandoned the match probably on the wrong assumption that Rising Stars are the place he could easily get point or points," he said.
We've won the game and I dare say that if anything happened to the result Nigerian league is doomed forever.
"I can't imagine any sensible person calling for a replay of the match.
"Nobody complained nor protested over our goal, there was no fight throughout the duration of the game.
