VAN PERSIE DECIDES TO GO FOR ARSENAL'S TRAINING CAMP AS JUVENTUS GIVES HIM AN ULTIMATUM

Skipper Robin van Persie has decided he will go to Arsenal's training camp in Germany next week even though Juventus have set a deadline for a potential move.

The striker's switch to the Italian giants is in doubt with Van Persie set to play in a friendly against Cologne on August 12.

Van Persie's agent Kees Vos was told by Juventus that a deal needed to be agreed by August 7 if he was to come to Arsenal, according to the Mirror.
If he does not go to Juventus, Van Persie has options within England in the form of the two Manchester clubs.

The Dutchman prefers a move to Man United over Man City but Sir Alex Ferguson is dubious about paying more than £15million for the 29-year-old.

Regardless of if Van Persie leaves the club, even he will be impressed with Arsene Wenger's near-acquisition of Malaga's Santi Cazorla.

The £17.3m Spain midfielder has been a long-time target and the 27-year-old is sure to help the fans get over Van Persie's probable departure.
