ESPERANCE SIGNS GHANA SENSATION EMMANUEL CLOTTEY

Tunisian giants Esperance have unveiled Ghana striker Emmanuel Clottey.

The 25-year-old passed a rigorous medical on Wednesday to seal a three-year deal reported to be worth US$ 1.5 million.

The Berekum Chelsea player was presented to the club's fans and media at the club's Hassene Belkhodja training centre.

Clottey, who will be eligible for the club in December, has been handed the number 23 jersey.

He has been signed to replace Cameroonian striker Yannick Ndjeng who will leave for Swiss side FC Sion in January.

Clottey will miss this weekend's final round of Group matches matches in the CAF Champions thus his inability to equal Stephen Worgu's all-time record of 13.

He currently leads the scorers-chart with 12 goals from 11 matches.
