It has being reported that, no fewer than 20 coaches have applied for the vacant managerial position at Premier League side, Kwara United, following the end of Tunde Sanni’s one-year contract.
A former captain of the team, Sanni, led the club to 6th position on the log.
Sanni barely escaped the exit door last term and has since re-applied for the job as directed by his forer employers.The former captain believes he will return to the job when the recruitment exercise is completed.

According to report, the race for the job has been characterised by intense intrigue and power play.
Despite the presence of several big name managers since the club evolved from defunct Kwara State Utility Bombers (Kwasu) in the 1990s, Kwara United have never won the domestic league.
The legendary Kadiri Ikhana earned the club a place in the continent after finishing third during the 2006 Super Four and the club reached the group stage of the 2007 Caf Confederation Cup.
