ANGOLA TEMPT SUPER EAGLES WITH WARM UP MATCH TOWARDS AFCON 2013
Angola Footbll Asssociation have proposed a warm-up game between the South African country and Nigeria before the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations
Angola FA Vice-President, Joao Lusevikueno said in an interview on Monday that they wish to test their readiness for the forthcoming AFCON against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in South Africa
The Palancas Negras of Angola clashed with a Super Eagles team made up of mainly Nigeria Premier League players in a similar game in January decided at Abuja while they (Angola) were preparing for the 2012 tournament in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. The match against ended in a goalless draw.
The AFCON 2012 host beat Zimbabwe 2-0 at home to cancel out a 3-1 loss in Harare to go through on the away goals rule while Nigeria defeated the Lone Stars of Liberia 8-3 on aggregate to reach 2013 nations cup in South Africa
The Super Eagles will take on Venezuela in a friendly next month in the United States of America, while a training camp for players in the Nigeria Premier League has been planned for Europe before a final residential training most likely in Zimbabwe.
