The Nigeria Football Federation has expressed concern at the bit by bit arrival of foreign-based professionals for the Afcon game against the Lone Star of Liberia.
The Eagles' camp is expected to have a full complement of foreign-based players latest on Tuesday.
But with Super Eagles' manager, Stephen Keshi's revelation that Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi will arrive on Wednesday fears are rife that other players may not heed the Tuesday deadline.
As at Tuesday morning only the trio of goalkeepers, Austin Ejide, Vincent Enyeama and midfielder, Nosa Igiebor have arrived for the make-or-mar game at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar.
The football house head of competitions, Dr Sanusi Mohammed said the earlier the players arrive on time the better for training and blending before the crucial game.
As at the time of compiling this news, it was reported that Nine foreign based players have joined the camp on Tuesday evening and online three are expected amongst them John Mikel Obi who has visa issues to sort out.
