CARLOS TEVEZ FACES DRIVING BAN AFTER THREE OFFENCES IN UK
Manchester City striker, Carlos Tevez is facing a driving ban after three offences.
Tevez was due to be sentenced for driving his Porsche without a full UK licence and failing to reveal who was driving his Hummer when it was caught speeding in Morecambe.
But having just been fined £1,500 and handed six points for another speeding offence, Tevez and his defence team have asked for that punishment to be scrapped so he can be sentenced for all three at once.
As Tevez has a licence in Argentina, he is allowed to drive in Britain for the first 12 months of his stay before applying for a provisional licence and passing the theory and practical tests. He has been in this country since 2006.
Tevez was unable to produce a UK licence when he was stopped in Didsbury in November last year.
He then mimicked driving a car as part of his celebration when he scored against Aston Villa a couple of days later.
He will be sentenced in two weeks.
