TOTTENHAM TO GET PAST THE £100 MILLION MARK AS THEY SPLASH £60 MILLION FOR WILLIAN AND LAMELA
English premier league side, Tottenham are set to take their summer spending past the £100million mark by splashing out £60m on attacking midfielders Brazilian sensation Willian and Argentina youngster, Erik Lamela.
Having already spent a combined £57.6m on Roberto Soldado, Nacer Chadli, Etienne Capoue and Paulinho, the north London club are preparing for the imminent departure of Gareth Bale by bringing in players who can fill up the welsh vacuum
Willian arrived in London for a medical today and the highly-rated 25-year-old is on the brink of joining Spurs in a deal believed to be worth around £30m.
Lamela will cost a similar figure and his father Jose and agent Pablo Sebbag have a meeting scheduled today with Roma director of football Walter Sabatini and Spurs' technical director Franco Baldini.
Liverpool have been chasing Willian for some time and the Anzhi star has also received late interest from Arsenal but he is set for a medical at Spurs today after flying into London.
