SEE FACTS AND STATISTICS OF NPFL AS KANO PILLARS WINS LEAGUE FOR 3RD STRAIGHT TIME

                                      
It is no longer news that Kano Pillars are now the champions of the Nigeria Professional League (Some still refer to it as the Nigeria Premier League) for the third time in a row.

What is news is the fantastic statistics that that many football fans would never believe would be attained in a league engrossed with crisis and issues despite the League Management Company's effort in making it a, very competitive and conducive league.

FACT: Shuaibu Ibrahim (Giwa FC) & Peter Ebimobowei (Bayelsa United) have scored hat-trick twice this season

Shuaibu Ibrahim (Giwa FC) bagged 2 hat-tricks ; Vs Kaduna United (4-0) Week 15; Vs El-Kanemi Warriors (4-2) Week 37;

Peter Ebimobowei (Bayelsa United) scored 2 hat-tricks; Vs Kaduna United (3-0) Week 24; Vs Lobi Stars (4-1) Week 37;

Fidelis Saviour (FC Taraba) becomes the 15th player to score 3 or more goals in a game: Vs Crown FC (3-0); Week 37

Theophilus Afelokhai (Kano Pillars); Danladi Isa (Sharks FC); Terka Melai (Lobi Stars); Olorunleke Ojo (Giwa FC) are the only goalkeepers to have scored so far.

Goalkeeper, Terka Melai (Lobi Stars) is the club's top scorer with 7 goals.

Akwa United are the only team not to have scored 3 or more goals in a single game so far.

Peter Ebimobowei (Bayelsa United); Okiki Musampa (Nembe City); Shuaibu Ibrahim (Giwa FC); Ugochukwu Leonard (Nasarawa United) all scored hat-tricks against Kaduna United.
