'I Will Never Play For France Even If My Dad Is The Coach' - Nasri

Nasri again criticised national team boss Didier Deschamps, who left him out of the World Cup squad

What will make a footballer to vow never to play for his country.......... even if his father is the coach?

France midfielder Samir Nasri has insisted that he would never play for  French national football team even if his father was appointed manager. Huge!

Nasri decided to call time on his international career in August last year after coach Didier Deschamps left him out of his World Cup squad as the duo have a rather
fractious relationship.

The Manchester City creative midfielder, speaking on a French national television, insisted that he has no regrets about his early retirement from the national team.

'Even if my dad is coach, I will not return'. Nasri said

'I've suffered with the selections - missing a World Cup destroys you a bit.

'After 2012, I wanted to stop but my father told me I had to play the World Cup. I tried to be good.

'I had a great season with my club before the 2014 World Cup. I had very good stats.

The former Arsenal midfielder also criticized coach Deschamp for his inability to manage his ego and others on the team.
'It was not enough. No disrespect to anyone [but] when I saw the list and some of those on it.

'I'm not perfect. I have my faults but when you're a great coach you manage the egos.'
