Premier League club Liverpool FC have finally agreed a deal with Germany Bundesliga club RB Leipzig to sign Guinean midfielder Naby Keita in the summer of 2018.
Keita has been a top target for Liverpool all summer, but the RB Leipzig were reluctant to lose their best player as they will be competing in the champions league for the first time.
Liverpool, however, did the needful to make Keita their player for the 2018-19 season.
The Guinean international player was in Liverpool, Monday, to undergo his medical and signed the deal after RB Leipzig gave him permission.
Liverpool have also paid an additional premium after triggering the release clause to seal the deal ahead of time.
This will make the transfer a club record, smashing the £36.9m paid for Egyptian winger Mohammed Salah.
